Diary of my last 2 weeks ♥

Yeah. So people. A lot has happened since when I last was here, to be honest, it's my lazyness! I'll start from the beginning. As a sort of diary I guess (only the interesting days :P)

Monday, 19th July...
My 18th birthday! wahoo!

My mum took me to lakeside to F Hinds jewellers where we found some lovely fossil jewellery. She got me a fossil bracelet and matching necklace which are absolutely gorgeous! They're made out of stainless steel and have little keys on them.. symbolic because 18 is supposed to be when you get the key to the door and all that! I also got a white gold and diamond ring from Warren James. I will have to post a picture next time, as I haven't got one right now. I also got £200 from Dad, £100 from my nan, a crystal silver bracelet from my older brother, and £50 from my other nan, £10 RI gift voucher, £5 body shop voucher (also £5 free birthday gift from the membership card) and various little things from friends like a "little miss birthday" book and a makeshift barbeque and marshmallows that we could cook outside on the night of my party, and a disposible camera to remember my party :)

Tuesday 20th July...
Beach!
We were celebrating 3 birthdays of my friends, and generally had a laugh there. Here's a pic:
you can see me on the far left, digging a hole to make an armchair. "lol!"
I was also wearing my jewellery that mum got me yesterday, i completely scratched up my bracelet, it went all dull and I was so gutted =[

Wednesday 21st July...
Much of the same.. went back to the same beach, for yet another birthday party for my best friend Kel. She has the same birthday as me (July 19th) but spent our actual birthdays celebrating with our respective families. Another picture for you, when we went to the local park
grr! This time I didn't wear my birthday jewellery, I'd already learnt my lesson

Thursday 22nd July...
My birthday party.
Unlike the days before, mine was an evening party. It was really cool, we all had a blast. It ended at 12am and everyone left and I went to bed, however, i woke up 2 hours later only to be sick! Too much drink! haha.

This was most of us, although some people had left before we got a chance for a group photo =[

Monday, 26th July
The accident.
I was picking my laptop up to show my mum a song, when it slipped out of my hand. It bashed my wrist which knocked my bracelet off (breaking it...) but luckily the laptop bounced on my bed. So I saved the laptop, at the expense of breaking the bracelet! It was definately time to take another trip down to the jewellers to repair/replace it cause it shouldn't be doing that.. not at 1 week old!

Tuesday 27th July
Another Lakeside trip
So once again, we went to lakeside to take the broken bracelet to them. When we did, they said did you want a new one? I was over the moon when they said that! I'd scratched it up really badly but they didn't seem to notice, I was more than happy to accept a new one! very very happy. Also, I took the opportunity to get my ears pierced - something I've been wanting to do for a long time! The actual piercing and earcare solution was free, aswell as giving me 20% off my first purchase of non-starter earrings. All you had to do was buy the earrings. There was a small selection of silver, gold and titanium earrings. I chose to get white gold ones with 5mm cubic zirconias which cost me £35 but I didn't mind, I wanted to treat myself for my birthday :)

I like them, but I really want square cut ones. Unfortunately they didn't do this as starter earrings because they already had the stud attached to the gun in a packet to make sure everything is sterile. I think I will use my 20% off voucher to buy a pair of square ones, especially as I'm allergic to jewellery which isn't gold or silver so I'd prefer to buy them from a jewellers.

Thursday 29th July...
Disaster.
I woke up around 12:30pm (lazy I know) to find that one of my earrings had come out when i was sleeping! I thought, i'll just put it back in... simple but the holes had healed over! the back was completely healed but there was still signs of a hole in the front of my ear. I tried and tried for hours to repierce my ear (which was very painful!) Poking it for so long only made it sore to touch.. and still not completely pierced either... We tried Ametop which is a numbing gel but it didn't work! luckily it only cost £1.10 :P my mum's boyfriend ended up quickly piercing it (with pain =[ ) but at least it was over, even if it was after 7 hours of attempting to do it myself :/

I promise I will keep more up to date with you guyss!
At the moment I'm on the hunt for a new purse, and generally a bit of a spash the cash job since I got a load for my birthday! I will get pics of my birthday jewellery soon, i love it so much, i just have to share it with you guys!

Thanks for reading, I managed to fit 2 weeks into one post! wahoo. I hope you're all doing okay.

Love,
Emz ♥

I know it's been agesss but I've been in Malta and then I had prom. I'll show you some of the professional prom photos that were taken. I might be buying some but they're £15 a picture :o omg! So unfair =[ I've lost my cam lead atm (I think it's at my dad's, seeing him friday night) so I can't upload any holiday pics *sadface*

So yeah, I didn't have a date for the prom, but that's okay, I still had a good time :)

Update & Bargain Purchase

I'm really sorry for not blogging in days. I had a really disasterous day on Thursday and Leavers day yesterday. So I guess I'll start with thursday.

~ Thorpe Park ~
So everything was great, we'd got there safely in my friends car and paid and been on nemesis inferno then went on the river rapids. When I got off, I noticed my bag was extremely wet but we didn't get that wet on the ride so it didn't make sense. Then I realised a whole bottle of water had spilled in my bag, and my blackberry, ipod and camera got soaked. Luckily, after putting them on the windowsill to dry, everything works completely, which is amazing since my blackberry was actually broken for a little while and my friend said it would never be 100% again but it is! So relieved since i've only had it a month. I was so gutted at the thought of it never working again.

Then! We went on the saw alive maze, which is basically a really dark place where you go through various rooms with "frightening" scenes and actors who touch you. Your group of people all have to hold the person before's shoulders so you're walking in a line, a bit like a conga line i suppose lol. I seemed to get touched an awful lot and was desperate to move into the next room so kept trying to walk faster to move our group of 5 along, unfortunately, cause I was wearing flip flops, i hurt my big toe on the person infront's heel, and it ended up like this with part of my toe nail missing: http://tinypic.com/r/t8qmus/6
*WARNING: DON'T SUGGEST YOU CLICK IF YOU ARE SQUEEMISH*

and then finally, we went to queue up for colossus (see picture above). There was 6 of us but my friend Dina's boyfriend didn't feel very well and he had to drive home so he decided not to go on it. Dina already said she would sit on her own (like a row infront or something) but Ben, the person who was supposed to be sitting with me, was indecisive and wouldn't decide who he wanted to go with so I lost my place while he went with Dina. I had to get on the next ride with none of my friends, and how much fun is it when you've been queueing for ages for a ride (over 1 hour) and then you have to sit on it alone like you have no friends?! And afterwards, Ben tried to make out like it was no big deal and I started crying. Everything had just built up over the day and I couldn't hold it together anymore. A boy with us, called Tom, saw me crying and took me into a massive hug which was so nice of him.

~ Bargain Purchase ~
Right, Now to my Bargain Purchase. Some of you may remember reading one of my recent blog posts about new boots which I had bought (you can click here for the post). Well, I was browsing the River Island site and found what appears to be, a very very similar pair of boots! Here's a comparison photo:

The RI boots are probably made of leather or something, but my boots on the right look identical so I know which price tag I'd rather be paying!! Also, I've FINALLY managed to track down this necklace that I've been wanting. I've seen a couple of people wear it, one at thorpe park, and I love it soo much, and it's only £5 from New Look!

This necklace reminds me of those Primark pearl necklaces that get bigger at the front. I will look in my local New Look on Monday for this, but if I can't find it, I guess I'll have to order online when I get back from my holiday, but then my £5 necklace turns into my £8.95 necklace. *Sadface*!

Nicola, I haven't forgotten your tag post, I promise it's coming soon!

Love,
Emz ♥
